There is a magazine we got in the mail that has a picture of a ball pit (tent) and balls that Hannah found. For weeks, she would open up the magazine and go "I want the balls." Hannah got some birthday money in the mail from Granny Polly and we found the balls at Target - all 100 of them! Here's what's been occupying our time lately. We've had a lot of fun!

Hannah (seen here) had a tempature of 102.8. It got up to 105 at one point. The most helpless feeling in the world has to be having a sick baby. She was still her sweet little self. I think that is why the doctors never acted too concerned.

We have had a busy summer so far. First we celebrated mommy and daddy's 8-yr anniversary. We have been to camp Falls Creek to here daddy speak (more than likely, the first of many for Hannah Grace). We are going to Orlando, Florida for the 4th of July weekend to see Meme and Papa Charlie. Then we have Hannah's first birthday.

Today we experienced one of the happiest places on earth. We went to the opening day of Edmond's one and only swim park, Pelican Bay. We waited in line along with the other 600 people and it was so worth it. Daddy even participated in the diving contest...and kind of like the Chalk-Art contest last Fourth of July, he was the only contestant who graduated kindergarten over 20 yrs ago.
Hannah loves the water. We had a great time. We even ran into the Greene's - some of our buddies.

...Now all we need is a place to swim. This time last year Nathan blew the swimming pool up all by himself. It took three hours, two Mountain Dews, and a trip to the ER but it was worth it.

Daddy was playing around with the camera and got some really cute pictures. Hannah is so much fun right now. She will be 7 months old this week. She is sitting up on her own, eating all kinds of baby food, and enjoying getting to spend more time with Daddy. She is definitely becoming more and more of a Daddy's girl.

We can't even begin to tell you how many times since she has been born, that some stranger has walked up to us and said the sweetest things to us about Hannah.

One time we were at Target and this lady, who we have never met, stopped to look at Hannah in her stroller. But instead of the usual response, she looked at Hannah and then putting her hand over her heart looked up at us with tears in her eyes. She kept saying “What a blessing.” By the time we were done talking with this woman, the tears were flowing and she hugged us.

We continually pray that Hannah's life would be marked by a life of blessing

Hannah is such a happy baby. We love that about her. But what is even more amazing, is the happiness that she has brought to our lives. We didn't know what real happiness was.

One time we were eating at Home Town Buffet and this older gentleman stopped what he was doing and walked over to us, looked at Hannah and said, "I believe that that is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen." And when we smiled and said thank you, he persisted to inform us that he was not some crazy old man. He was completely serious. "I have seen a lot of babies in my lifetime...She is the prettiest one I have ever seen."

What do you say to something like that? What a blessing.
